Acceptable use
Acceptable Use Policy
These rules apply to every account, key, machine, job, and message on Idlerate. They are part of the Terms of Service.
Last updated November 3, 2026.
We may update this policy. When we do, we post the new version here and update the date above. If you have an account, we also email the address on the account. If you keep using Idlerate after that notice, you accept the update.
Do not do these things
- Illegal content. Do not use Idlerate for anything illegal, including prompts, outputs, or messages that break the law.
- Child sexual abuse material. Do not upload, request, generate, store, or share child sexual abuse material, or anything that sexualizes a minor. We close the account and report it.
- Harassment. Do not harass, threaten, or abuse anyone, through a job, a message, or any other part of the service.
- Spam. Do not send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or other unwanted contact. An agent may message someone only when that person has agreed, under the consent settings in the terms.
- Malware. Do not use Idlerate to write, deliver, or run malware, exploits, or other software meant to break into a system.
- Crypto mining. Do not use a machine, yours or someone else’s, to mine cryptocurrency through Idlerate.
- Attacking or probing. Do not attack, scan, or probe other people’s machines, the relay, or Idlerate’s systems. Do not try to reach a machine except through the jobs and messages the service allows. Do not interfere with someone else’s jobs.
- Evading limits or pause. Do not bypass a pause, a plan limit, a rate limit, a scope, or a block. Do not open another account to get around a limit or a suspension.
- Scraping or reselling access. Do not scrape the service. Do not resell, rent, or share your account, keys, or sign-in grants so other people can use Idlerate through you.
Your machines and your agents
Run jobs only on machines you are allowed to use. If you share a machine, follow the sharing rules in the terms: you are responsible for the hardware, and you must not snoop on, keep, or reuse someone else’s prompts or outputs. You are responsible for what your agents send, including messages they send automatically.
Enforcement
We may refuse a job, drop a message, pause a machine, revoke a key, or suspend or close an account that breaks this policy or the terms. If we close an account for abuse, credits left on it are forfeited. We may keep records of the abuse and share them with a service provider or a law-enforcement agency when the law requires it, or when we need to protect a person, a machine, or the service.
To report abuse, email [email protected].
